New Breed Marketing Unveiled the Summer Internship Marketing Challenge in Renewable Energy
New Breed Marketing was asked to participate in the 10th annual South Burlington High School Career/Job Expo. With over 75 companies in attendance New Breed unveiled the Summer Internship Marketing Challenge open to all South Burlington High School students. The challenge is to choose one renewable energy technology and come up with a unique way to market it to either businesses or homeowners. The students can design a poster, produce a commercial, write a marketing plan or choose any creative way to communicate the benefits of the chosen technology.
The challenge winner will receive a two week paid internship at New Breed Marketing over the summer to really get a feel for what marketing is all about. It is a very unique opportunity for students because they can “test drive” a career path that they might not have previously not known existed. Brian Mullins, Creative Director for New Breed Marketing commented, “There is a lot of competition for students these days, and for them to get a head start in knowing what they want to do for a career is very valuable. We hope that students challenge themselves and are able to learn about renewable energy, marketing and of course have a fun time.”
